Job Summary:

As a Business Development Executive focused on residential solar projects, your main responsibilities will include identifying, pursuing, and securing opportunities for both on-grid and off-grid solar panel installations. You will build strong client relationships, thoroughly understand their unique energy requirements, and deliver customized solar solutions. Your primary objective is to ensure a seamless, cost-effective, and environmentally sustainable transition to solar energy for residential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify potential residential clients interested in solar panel installations and EPC projects.
  • Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calls, referrals, online research, and networking.

Consultative Sales:

  • Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their energy requirements and assess their eligibility for on-grid or off-grid solar solutions.
  • Customize solar proposals based on clients” needs, budget, and energy consumption patterns.
  • Clearly communicate the benefits of solar energy and the financial incentives available.

Proposal Development:

  • Prepare comprehensive and persuasive proposals and presentations that showcase the advantages of our solar products and services.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate system designs and project feasibility.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing post-installation support.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and incentives related to solar energy.
  • Analyze market data to identify new opportunities and strategies for growth.

Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure the successful execution of solar installations.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to clients.

Achieve Sales Targets:

  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and revenue goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in business, marketing, engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record in sales or business development, ideally within the solar industry or renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of residential solar systems, both on-grid and off-grid.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
