You will be Part of Remittance & Clearing back office team and reporting under supervision of Manager/ Assistant Manager – Remittances & Clearing
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Checking with the customer upon receipt of payment instructions to confirm the details.
• Processing of SGD/ USD payments.
• Handle SWIFTmessages in regards to payments.
• Mailing the Swift copies to the customers.
• Cheque Clearing (USD & SGD).
• GIRO payments.
• Handling the inward remittances including customer credits.
• Submission of daily & monthly reports.
• Reconciliation of entries on a daily basis.
• Testing of system when required.
• Filing of documents
• Any adhoc duties to be assigned by HOD
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any related field
• At least 2-3 year experience in managing remittance transactions in a Bank
• Working knowledge of Excel Tools (Vlookup, basic formulas)
• Details oriented and committed
• Comfortable with numbers
• Preference will be given to candidates who can join at short notice (not a must)
• Based on experience the candidate shall be hired for Exec/Senior Exec role
