We are looking for an Executive to maintain the operations of NCCS Satellite Biobank and ensure regulatory compliance to Tissue Banking activities & Human Tissue Framework (HTF) under Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA). You will develop and adapt compliance plans for tissue and data management by working closely with SingHealth Tissue Repository and all SingHealth level data management and IT related units e.g. IHIS. Your responsibilities will include:
1) Assist in ensuring biobank compliance with institutional Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), Human Tissue Framework (HTF) and Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA).
2) Assist in developing, planning and executing comprehensive risk-based audit and compliance plans.
3) Assist in planning and conducting internal quality audits and following-up and closure of findings.
4) Set up samples and data storage and access work flow in compliance to HTF under HBRA.
5) Solicit feedback from NCCS users of NCCS Satellite Biobank to improve its operation process.
6) Assist in planning for Satellite Tissue Bank facility in new NCCS building.
Requirements:
1) Degree in Biomedical Science with at least 2 years’ experience in research or healthcare setting, especially in the area of biological materials banking and repositories.
2) Familiar with PDPA, HBRA and GCP.
3) Proficient in MS Office, including MS Excel.
4) Meticulous, proactive, fast and accurate, with an excellent command of English.
5) Committed team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
